    Charles “Redbird” Redding, age 67, of Royal, passed away December 2, 2016 at his home. He was born September 27, 1949 in Texarkana, AR to the late Mr. William C. and Gladys E. Redding. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Francis Margo Dickson.

    He is survived by his brothers, William B. Redding, Oscar L. Redding, Kimmy R. Redding, sisters, Nancy E. Queen, and Mary J. Lesnick.

    There will be a memorial service held Thursday, December 8, 2016 at “The Old Feed Store” 163 Hwy 27 N. at 11:00 a.m.

    So sorry to hear about Jackie "Redbird". He always had a smile and hug for me. Prayers for all. RIP Redbird! I will miss you!

    Thoughts and prayers for all of the family. Jackie was always a lot of fun to be around. I can still see his smiling face from the last time I saw him. "Whoop Whoop Whoop" to those who remember. I'm sure that he will be missed.
